Meet Patricia Azevedo

European travel consultant. Founder of DURIAN Travel. The person who answers your emails.

If you have tried to plan a trip to Europe from outside the continent, you already know the problem. The information exists, but it is scattered across embassy websites, forums, blog posts, and advice written for audiences who never need to think about visas at all.

That gap is what Patricia built DURIAN to fill.

How this started

Patricia did not set out to become a travel consultant. She started where most people do: planning her own trips to Europe, running into questions that did not have clear answers, and slowly turning personal trial-and-error into something more systematic.

Over years of travel and research, she learned how visa requirements change by embassy, how itinerary structure shapes an application, and how small documentation choices can make a file feel either credible or fragile. She began helping people in her network with their first Europe trips. Eventually that grew into DURIAN Travel.

What she does

Patricia works on two connected problems: Schengen visa strategy and Europe itinerary planning. In practice, these are rarely separate. The route determines the embassy. The embassy changes the document emphasis. The budget changes the story your bank statements and bookings have to support.

She reviews document packages, flags what is missing or weak before submission, and helps clients build a stronger application narrative. She also designs routes that make sense for budget, pacing, and the realities of getting to Europe from places as different as Sao Paulo, Nairobi, Seoul, Sydney, or Mexico City.

She has worked with travelers from Latin America, North America, Asia, Africa, and Australia, and her own travel experience spans Western, Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe.

A few things worth knowing

  • She is not a visa agency. DURIAN helps clients understand and strengthen the process, but does not submit applications on their behalf.
  • She is not a lawyer. If a case needs legal advice, Patricia will say so clearly.
  • She responds personally. When you contact DURIAN, you are talking to Patricia, not a sales team or outsourced inbox.
